Community Outreach

Amack's Well has given our community more than $109,000 over the last nine years.

May is mental health awareness month

One Community, One Family:

  • Provides NO COST Mental Health First Aid and QPR Suicide Prevention Trainings
  • Facilitates local recovery-related efforts
  • Facilitates local suicide-overdose fatality review teams
  • Links individuals to community resources and support

Amack’s Well is proud to partner with one Community, One Family for the Month of May.

All this month we will be displaying an informational table providing resources for our community. You will find crisis hotlines, mental health awareness activities and coloring sheets, free swag, and more!

If you are experiencing a crisis and wish to seek help from our community, please visit One Community, One Family’s website or call them at (812)932-1030.

Annual Give Back

Since 2016 Amack’s Well Coffee House has sponsored a Give Back Campaign. The purpose of this program is to “Give Back” to community organizations and charity groups (or individuals) who deserve encouragement and financial support. Our Give Back Campaign lives out part of our mission statement in demonstrating “love for our neighbor.” Each year a portion of our earnings are given back to our beloved community through this Campaign and other outreaches.

The process starts by individuals nominating worthy causes or charity groups and submitting a “Nomination Form” to Amack’s Well each November. Your regular patronage and dedication to Amack’s Well allows us to be generous with others.
