Community Outreach

amacks-well-serving

Amack’s Well sponsors a different community outreach each month. By sharing information and providing a convenient donation collection site, Amack’s Well strives to inspire our guests to support local, national, and even international causes. Many of our outreaches have been suggested by our baristas or customers, so if you have a charity you are passionate about, stop in and talk with us. We want to be a launching ground for community service.

Past outreaches include:

  • Batesville Food Pantry
  • Cell Phones for Soldiers
  • Safe Passage – Batesville’s domestic violence shelter and support center
  • Socks for the Homeless
  • Jeans for Teens
  • T3 – support for children in foster care
  • Batesville Summer Food Program
  • Bucket Buddies – support for hospitalized children with cancer and other diseases
  • Fire Victims Fund – financial aid for families displaced by local fire, Feb. 2017
  • The Granny Connection – support for African grandmothers raising children orphaned by AIDS
  • Hope Center of Indianapolis
  • Empty Bowls (Batesville Area Ministerial Association)
  • Friends of the Library – book collection
  • Operation Christmas Child – box collection site
